There will be a short act of remembrance at the Chorley Pals Memorial on the Flat Iron in the town at 7.30 a.m. on Friday, 1st July.
A wreath will be laid by Trustees to commemorate the Pals going over the top at the start of the Battle of the Somme, exactly 95 years ago on the 1st July 1916.
All are welcome to attend.
