The project, run by the Chorley Pals Memorial charity, needs people to come forward and help as the Remembrance Experience exhibition attracts more and more visitors.
The main role will be “meet & greet” in the exhibition and at events, so the ability to engage visitors along with some knowledge of local / military history would help, although training will be given.
The more adventurous may wish to volunteer to dress up as ‘Charley Pal’ for an hour or so and engage visitors, young and old, in the exhibition and around the Astley Hall complex.
