We have been advised that work should be completed by next Thursday, 23rd August.
All the paving stones have been laid and there is just some finishing off to do with the low level boundary fence.
Topsoil should be delivered on Monday and turf the following day; planting of a low level box hedge should complete the landscaping.
The frames for the two interpretation boards are in place, awaiting the arrival of the boards from the manufacturers in Dumfries (they are expected on Wednesday).
Advertising box
We have been asked by a few people about the illuminated advertising box in the corner of the site. Chorley Council are in contact with the owners to have it repositioned elsewhere on the Flat Iron market.
However, if it cannot be moved in the next few weeks then it will be removed next June when the contract expires.
