The wreath laid at the Memorial by Steve Williams

Our Secretary, local historian and author Steve Williams won’t be in Chorley for Remembrance Day or Remembrance Sunday.

He is leading a coach trip to Belgium and will be at the Menin Gate on Remembrance Day, 11th November.

Prior to leaving, he laid a wreath in memory of the Chorley Pals at the memorial on the Flat Iron in Chorley.

Whilst in Belgium, he will lay a wreath on behalf of the Chorley Remembers project at the Menin Gate and one at Tyne Cot Cemetery at Passchendaele where a number of Chorley soldiers are buried and commemorated.
