William Brindle served in the Pals as a Private and was transferred to Labour Corps with the number of 604333 (date unknown), where he was promoted to Corporal.
He was discharged from the Army on the 7th March 1919.
William was known to attend St. George’s Church in Chorley.
Other Information: It is possible that it is William Brindle, son of Thomas Brindle who lived and had a Furniture Shop at 82 Market Street “in the Parish of St. George’s”, Chorley; he was born in the town in 1878.
